Herschel Olive Jr.

Herschel Olive Jr, 75, of DeMotte, IN, was carried on the wings of Angels with his loving wife Betty on May 30, 2012. He was born on February 26, 1937 in Tennessee to the late Herschel Sr.and Corene Olive. On July 20, 1957 he married the love of his live Betty. He worked for LTV Steel with 43 years of service. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Roselawn, as well as a Deacon. He enjoyed camping, and loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He also devoted his life to Christ through the ministry of his church which he was so proud.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; Betty; sister Glenda; brother-in-law Jack Stutts; and Sister-in-law Lois Olive.

Survived by: his Loving Children, Willard Pendergrass of AL, Joey Olive of Las Vegas, Mark(Peggy)Olive of Roselawn, Jamie(Sabrina)Olive of Roselawn, Sandy(Randy) Brunton of Roselawn; brothers Richard(Tena) of AR, Jessie(Nancy) of AL, Robert(Jeri) of AL, Danny(Bonnie) of AL; sisters Frances Stutts of AL, Shirley Olive of AL, and Brenda(Terry) Holden of AL; as well as 15 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren, and many loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday June 6, 2012, at 11 am in the First Baptist Church of Roselawn, with Pastor Joel Gilbert officiating. Burial will be held Saturday, June 9, 2012 at 1 PM at Railroad Cemetery in Tennessee. Friends may call on June 5, 2012 from 2-8 pm at the First Baptist Church of Roselawn.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Roselawn. Junior will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. www.frazierfuneralhome.net
