Thomas Young

Thomas Glenn Young, 84, of Killen, AL, passed away May 7, 2012 after a brief illness. He was a retired electrician and a member for IBEW Local Union and Employed by Johnson Electric, he was a longtime resident of Lauderdale co. He was U.S. Army Veteran, and a member of the Shiloh Church of Christ.

Survivors include: Son: Daniel Glenn Young and wife Barbara of Killen Grandchildren: Christopher Glenn Young of Killen Erik Anthony Young and wife Paige of Killen Great-grandchildren: Anthony Gavin Young and Aleister Trenton Young

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie Dale and Frances Landrum Young; his wife Edith Deloris Bevis Young; and his son Michael Dale Young. Grandparents John Clement Young and Lula J. Mckelvey and Samuel Charles Landrum and Mary Catherine Murphy.

He was raised by his Grandfather Samuel Charles Landrum, who he called “PAPA”.

Visitation will be Wednesday, May 9, 2012 from 11-1:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow this at 1:00 P.M. with Bro. Howell Bingham and Bro. Perry Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers please give a donation in his memory to the Greenhill Senior Center
